MONDAY, JANUARY 18, 2009 NAACP Parade in Honor of Martin Luther King Day
11:00 a.m. Join the Collier County Democrats and Obama Supporters (OFA) at the Downtown Naples Parade.
Line up at Broad Ave. between 3rd St. S and 7th St. S around 10:15. Parade is about 1 1/4 miles long.
Wear walking shoes, anything red, white & blue or your Obama shirts, & sun screen. THEN join the NAACP, Collier Dems and Obama Supporters (OFA) as we celebrate in Cambier Park 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. Volunteer Greeters Needed at our booth Please bring canned/packaged food to be shared with our local food banks or our Haitian neighbors in such desperate need For more information or to sign up to volunteer for the parade or the Dems' booth at the Cambier Park, please call Mickey Gargan at 239-774-3809 or send an email to Mickeygg2@aol.com | |
