2010 Golden Gate Candidate Forum.

Visit the NEW Democratic Executive Committee's (DEC)
2010 Election Campaign Headquarters!
The 2010 Candidate Forum will be held on Monday, July 12th at the Golden Gate Community Center, 4701 Golden Gate Parkway. The Supervisor of Elections will be in attendance to conduct an important STRAW VOTE before the August Primaries.
ANYONE CAN VOTE IN THIS MOCK ELECTION SO WE NEED DEMS TO SHOW UP IN BIG NUMBERS TO SEND A POSITIVE MESSAGE ABOUT OUR CANDIDATES TO OTHER VOTERS AND THE MEDIA. The Supervisor of Elections will also be on hand to answer questions, confirm your voter registration or register you to vote!
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the Candidate Discussion/ Forum will begin at 7:00 p.m. It will be moderated by radio personality Dave Elliot. This event will serve as the CCDC's monthly membership gathering in lieu of the regularly scheduled meeting on July 19th. WEAR BLUE AND HELP BLUE: join the DEC in passing out slate cards, helping candidates, and letting voters know what the Democratic Party offers.

James Roach - US Congressional District 14
Johnny Farias - State Representative District 112
Sandra Ruiz - State Representative District 112
Dr. Kathy Ryan - District 3 School Board
Eric Cox - District 1 School Board
The Forum is sponsored by the Golden Gate Area Civic Association, the Golden Gate Estates Civic Association, the Collier Branch of the NAACP, and the Golden Gate Homeowners Association will host the Forum. Refreshments will be served.

Monday, July 12th is YOUR opportunity to get an
"Insider's Preview" of the NEW DEC 2010 Election Campaign Headquarters.
The DEC has secured office space for this important election year. This office will serve as home base for phone bank activities, volunteer trainings, providing information to the public, etc. The 2010 Election Campaign Headquarters will be open to YOU from 4pm - 10pm (light refreshments will be served). This is a great chance for you to see the headquarters on your way to and from the Candidate Forum.
The Democratic Executive Committee's 2010 Election Campaign Headquarters is located on the SE corner of Pine Ridge Rd. and Livingstone Rd. in the Marquesa Plaza - Suite 6.
